Do you REALLY do your action?

Luiz Dec 22, 2008 07:44pm Total Posts: 3	... the title says everything, but I’ll explain more: everyone say something like “we need do something”, “the earth needs our actions…”, “...carbon, ozone layer, ...” etc etc etc. But, truly, they do nothing to try to get better the situation of the planet. I dont know the reason, but the most part of the population prefer wait, seated in their sofa, waiting the situation get better alone, or waiting ‘Jesus Christ’ appear and save the planet… There is NO savior… No one will come from the heavens and save us. We REALLY have to help, and save our own house, there isnt other house to live! what can we do? simple, I ask what’s the problem in use something and clean it after? why you have to use plastic stuff and throw it away? why can’t you separete your trash, putting plastic in one bag, metal in other, etc? Bikes… who don’t like bikes? much better go by bike (in a short distance) or walk…and about get bus? it’s nice to have a good car, but good and expensive cars usually spend several gallons of gasoline, making more smoke. try to stay less time in the shower, turn it off when you are not dipping… hum, doing it you’ll spend 5 minutes a day, but you’ll save the world for the new generation… maybe, some of you thing i’m too “dramatic”, in this words, but this is the true. We have to think, that: the same way we can change the nature, the nature can change us…

I self used to take a shower like 5 times in a week, throwing waste (having no knowledge what danger it can cause for the environment), dont using the computer while it still on etc. But ever since Jack came in my life im taking care of the environment. Not so long ago im starting performing just me and my guitar to overcome my fear so im planning to educate other people what problem we are facing if we dont solve/taking care of it by performing and reference to Allatonce.org and many other sites that can help “greening” their life nor others. Im also planning (with the help of my highschool) to organize a green concert just like Jack’s All At Once village, to get local organizations their own standing boot and spread their information and of ofcourse music. We see children talking about the future of our planet, and that’s very beautiful… “Oh, how beautiful is to see children wanting to take care of tha planet…” So, we stop on this. - “We need to break barriers and take care of the planet after being a child, after being a teenager, after being an adult.” It’s what I say to my parents, to my sister, to my friends. “Do not throw trash on the road!” I use to say this, and I do what I say. I do not throw trash in anywhere, just on the trash bin. ^^ Jack is in nice projects helping people. It’s very nice to an artist, beacuse I don’t see anyone doing this. Just Jack. I say this to my friends, and they stay stopped without saying anything (^^)... They don’t have arguments to ‘break’ what Jack does. Weel, I can’t write more because I’m so busy now… ^^ See you after! :D
