Revolution Girlz.com is proud to help out a local Primary student accomplish his goal, which is to climb Mt. Kilimanjaro in Africa in order to raise money for orphans in Kibwezi, Kenya! These children are orphaned because their parents have lost their lives to diseases like: AIDS, TB, and malaria. Eleven year-old, Parker says that the reason he wants to climb Kilimanjaro is to, “help these kids who have no parents, sometimes only get one meal a day, and aren’t able to go to school and have no shoes. Parker is climbing for nomad charities in September of this year. The event is called “CLIMB FOR A CAUSE”. He would be the fourth youngest climber in the world to make it to the top. Each Climber is trying to raise $10,000. Yesterday when I went to pick up my mail from my PO Box I was beyond pleased to have found a large white envelope with contents inside to support local ,eleven year-old Parker, climb Mt. Kilimanjaro in order to help orphans in Africa. It was exactly what I had needed to see, after having a rough week full of disgruntled and unhappy people. This was a gift. So I have to say that RG is more than happy to help support this youngster in what will surely be a huge accomplishment in his life and at such a young age. I cannot stress this enough, Parker we are so happy to have you here and feel blessed that you are a part of this community. http://www.revolutiongirlz.com is pulling for you Parker! |
