Orfalea Foundation School Food Initiative

The objective of the School Food Initiative is to empower the public school districts in Santa Barbara County to implement and sustain nourishing cooked-from-scratch food service operations. They provide culinary training for food service personnel, offer funding for school kitchens, facilitate Farm-to-School connections, and offer educational programming that promotes food literacy at all grade levels.
